So where is the TCB location for getting tires mounted and balanced that can actually do a good job? Preferably somewhere in north Dallas.

Not sure what TCB is. Have you tried Baker (forum member here) at the Tire Store Service Center in Bedford? I had my tires flipped on the rims there recently. Reasonable rates and excellent results.

Make sure to ask for baker and tell him that you are a miata person.

Ok so what should one expect to pay at his establishment?

Would that not be obvious if he showed up in a 1996 M edition? Would it be better to mention the MME board?

I think he charges $30 if they are off the car, $40 if they are on.

Yea true I guess, but he could think that he is just a random hairdresser with a miata.

I meant to mention it if he was going to call beforehand and get a quote.

$40 is his standard fee for mount/balance/flip/roatation, etc. You will get very good service and quality balancing. Also, his alignment rack is state-of-the-art and they will do custom specs.

Thanks I may have to head over there. I won't be in the Miata since the wheels and tires are loose so no way to get all that in the Miata without looking like Sanford and Son. Let's see who remembers that

Another good place is Discount Tire in Plano. They have a GSP9700 Hunter machine and they are very knowledgeable. Gave me excellent service.
