If it's only garage ceiling, I wouldn't bother....unless you're going to do the walls and garage doors too.
So now that I'm "Healthier" I'm tackling a few projects that need my attention.
"The Great Water Heater Scare of 2017" has caused "The Great Garage Clean of 2017". Which is still underway....
During this "Great Garage Clean of 2017" it has come to my attention that we also need to do a "Great Attic Clean of 2017".
I plan to clear out the Attic above the garage and re floor the attic space. While I have the old flooring out is it worth insulating? The walls and the garage doors are not insulated.
If it's only garage ceiling, I wouldn't bother....unless you're going to do the walls and garage doors too.
I don't recommend this as I i did that at my current house. While the garage stays nice and warm in the winter it also is hot as balls in the summer as it retains heat from the cars. Nothing I have done seems to make much difference and I'm too lazy to clear out the garage, pull the decking up and pull the insulation out.
