Odd that the special rate only works if you check out on Saturday. Since the banquet is on Sat night, then most of us check out on Sunday.

Woohoo! I can't wait. I'll get to run Friday and Saturday this year. Will it be Friday CW, Saturday CCW again, like last year?

The online hotel registration still does not allow a Sat night stay, but if you call, they can set it up for you. As soon as I mentioned that I was having an issue with a group discount, they knew that it was the Miata thing.

I had to call to get the Hampton Inn Miata Club special rate for Sunday checkout too.

Did y'all notice that the photo of the NC Miata shown on the Tulsa Hampton Inn Miata Club page is a 2015 25th Anniversary Edition, just like mine? I may be partial, but I do think it is one of the best looking Miatas ever. :)

That said, I'll be bringing my "new" 2013 Club for the event. My 25AE is now a dedicated street car. Well, as soon as I remove those godawful noisy HP+ brake pads...

You might have to ask Connie, depending on your track experience.

Generally, you must have attended a previous Miatas at Hallett to be eligible for Friday.

I noticed the Hallett website says the Saturday dinner will be at the Rib Crib, rather than the hotel.

Rib Crib has a bar, so that's a plus. Having to drive 2.5 miles to get back to your room, that's a minus.

That's what I was thinking. I think there is a Holliday Inn Express very close by. But I'm not sure about parking, for those of us with a trailer.

I did not see this part. Where does it say this?

The selection on the registration page for extra Saturday dinner reservations says "Miatas Sept. 8 & 9 2017 (Extra Tickets Saturday Dinner Rib Crib"

By the way, registration seems open already. I thought it was going to be July 1.

Rib Crib has always supplied the dinner at the hotel. That does not say at Rib Crib.

    Mmmm, Rib Crib...

    Mr. Jarrett, you so smart!

It all makes sense now. I will call today and make my hotel reservations.
