Registration is open for the April 11th TNIA at MSRC.

There's a special on... Regular price is $150. The special for existing SCCA members is $50 if you sign up during the month of March for any TNIA event in April. There is also a special price of $100 for new SCCA members. If you are a previous SCCA member with a lapsed membership, you can renew your membership before you register for TNIA to get the $50 price.

    Come on, people. Sign up!

Don't forget the rules on the roll bar for convertibles. Not all cars are eligible to play.

    Yours is allowed!

2006 and newer convertibles (with some restrictions) do not require an aftermarket roll bar. See the topic "Are convertibles allowed" on this page: https://www.tracknightinamerica.com/pages/faq-2

    Are convertibles allowed?

Yes, but with a few caveats. Some tracks are more restrictive than others so check individual event pages, but generally, if your convertible is actually a Targa or T-Top, no problem.

If it is a true convertible it needs to meet one of the following criteria:

    • The convertible vehicle is a 2006-year model or newer, does not have forced induction, is less than 8 cylinders and has not been modified meaningfully beyond factory performance potential. (Examples: Engine swaps, aftermarket forced induction.)
    • The convertible vehicle is equipped with documented, factory-installed rollover protection (Examples of manufacturer documented rollover protection would include hydroformed and reinforced a-pillars or windshield frames, and factory-installed roll bars and/or "pop-up" bars that are designated as rollover protection.)
    • The convertible vehicle is equipped with an aftermarket roll bad that meets or exceeds standards set in the SCCA Time Trials Rules.

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Thanks for the heads up Skip! In!

Now I have to get my roll bar installed.

Jarrett, tell Leilane she now has some serious competition for the signage!

Don't put a Pace Car sign on your car. Leilane might hit it.

At the SCCA CT in January, I went off on the turn right before the one where Leilane went off. The runoffs are nice and smooth in that area.

You're welcome. I signed up in Intermediate group. I hope a lot of people turn out.

If the weather is nice on Sunday, I might try to install my roll bar too. It looks easy in the instructions.
