^-- Good observation! Time changes officially at 02:00 AM on Sunday to 03:00 AM. I wonder how many people will be showing up an hour late?

No, they'll be late. At 02:00 AM, the time changes to 03:00 AM, which is why we lose an hour. If you don't spring your clock forward, then when you wake up at 06:00 AM (on your unchanged clock), it's really already 07:00 AM. And when you arrive at the TMS bus lot at what you think is 08:00 AM, it is really 09:00 AM.

Smart phones should change automatically. So if you set your wakeup alarm on you phone, you'll probably be OK, perhaps never even realizing that the time changed. But you might feel like you lost an hour of sleep. Cuz you did. :)

    DST is stupid.

I actually like DST, because of the extra hour of daylight in the evenings. I think standard time is stupid and we should stay on DST.

I do agree with that. I just wish we would stick with one (like Arizona does).

Did X class change this year to count all the runs?

    Yes.

From the 2015 Sups (I don’t have a copy of the 2016 Sups)

    11.3 X Class

11.3.1 X will be an indexed class using the current year PAX guidelines. Anyone competing in a Solo-eligible vehicle shall be eligible for X Class. The class winner at each event will be determined by the fastest PAX-indexed time recorded during the first three (3) timed runs only – any subsequent runs will not count towards determining the class winner.

Cool I very seldom have my best on 3rd run.
I went to X this year because open was not competive for me last year.

Hey I can finally feel my feet! Man it was chilly yesterday......

Nice to see old friends and McShane!

Decent course but new tires in the cold weren't as sticky as I figured they would be... I never felt like I put together that good of a run.

Side Note - The Drivers Meeting was Too Damn Long!!

Fun course. Even in heat 3 the cold asphalt felt pretty slick. I'm sure it was worse earlier in the day.

I disconnected my rear sway bar, and that tamed my car's propensity for oversteer. I think this was the first time I've ever PAXed in the top 20%.
