Default FS Holliday Canopy metal parts

    Holliday Canopy metal pieces.

Before there were affordable and easily portable pop up canopies, there were these:

Peter Fehn and I used this one in the early 1990s. Some assembly required.

I have the metal corner/top/end pieces only, no tarp, no electrical conduit or bungies.

If you need a long term shelter in your back yard, or something bigger than a pop up for a multi-day event, this is what you need

Buy the metal pieces from me.

Then go to Lowe’s and buy the amount of ½” electrical conduit to support the size of tarp you need. Conduit comes in 10’ lengths, so a 20’ long tarp is the longest.

Then go to Harbor Freight for a tarp and zip ties, and you are all set.

can't get the photo insert to work, so here is a link to a photo

I can't get the photo to work, does this at all resemble something like a car port? I moved to a house with a converted garage and shop out back, but no covered parking for the miata. Toying with ideas that will stand the weather for a year or two until I get a proper car port built.

Will this thing, properly anchored, handle north texas weather? What are the dimensions? Does the tarp attach to the house/trailer on the rear and legs support the tarp out front, that's what I found on google.

well now the picture link thing appear to work

what I have are the 9 metal pieces only

it is freestanding on six legs unless somehow you attach one side of it to an eave of house/garage

I never used it in bad weather, so I guess how it stands up to bad weather depends on how good it is tied down or sheltered against a building

the longest it could be is 20' -- two 10' pieces of 1/2" electrical conduit joined together by the middle piece

    the widest is the same

we had 20 x 16 when we used it at autocrosses

I'll buy them... as long as it's not a beating getting to them.
