I answer honestly and say yes. And then pay the appropriate amount.
Are you asking us if you should lie and how to defraud your insurance company?
Guys,
I find myself trying to explain our hobby with the hopes of not getting the Extra Flat fee of ($2.50/$5 per 1000) leveraged against my new policy. I'm way over due in getting my life insurance up to snuff and they specifically ask about motorsports, skydiving etc. How have you navigated these waters and what was the result?

Jason McDaniel
I think his point has more to do with the Fact Autocross isn't wheel to wheel racing. Heck with the poor course designs we have in DFW it isn't even high-speed driving.
Big difference between running a Season of NASA and running a season or NTAXS.
It has nothing to do with lying it has to do with how do you explain autocross.
Mick is right.... if you "lie" and god for bid there is an accident, you better count on the insurance company not covering you.
I did what I could to explain what we do on the hot parking lots of DFW and we shall see what the underwriters respond with. I just found the whole process interesting and figured some of you guys had gone through it too.
