ECR is a kick! I went to the open track day on March 10th, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My best lap was 2:12.844 by Track Addict. That's not terribly fast, but it was fun all the same.

If you're on the fence about participating in the SCCA Time Trials (competitive, must be qualified) or Track Event (non-competitive, suitable for all) that is coming up on the 31st, just get over it and sign up.

This video doesn't have my best lap (best lap here is about a second slower), but it clearly shows how much fun you're going to have.

I had a really fun day. I didn't hurt myself, I didn't hurt the car, I set a new personal best at Eagles Canyon and I had Beanie Wienies for lunch. How could it be better?
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I had a blast too. New PB for me as well. I hope they post the official results soon.

Beanie Weenies is good food! Hearty, wholesome, and good for the heart, and all.

These results show STP in Street Touring 2, but I thought that STP had been moved from Street Touring 2 to Street Prepared because the Class and Modifier columns in the Attendee List on motorsportreg.com show STP in Street Prepared. I know STP ran in yellow group with the fast cars, not in the green group with us slow cars.
