Sammm, I saw your car at Kohls yesterday. Lookin good! The wheel caps really make the car.

I couldn't find you inside though.

Miata is any year/model Miata, regardless of mods.

Miata R is any year/model Miata on R compound tires, regardless of mods.

    Simple enough, no?

They are up to 51 Entrants! 19 Miatas, and no 3Bean on the list?

EH, I already have points in Miata, and also Id rather save the 710s for ER/Scca where I need them to beat, er compete with Mark52

And only 12 S2000s? What's happening to all the S2000 autocrossers? I mean, we've had 15 to 20 Miatas a nearly every S2000 event in the past 2 years, but there have typically been an equal (or nearly equal) number of S2000s. Looks like Clovis and gang need to start beating the bushes a bit more...

I think your reading too much into the numbers. It's fathers day weekend, and I'd bet a few folks have plans.

Heck I'm seriously considering sitting out the SCCA event the next day, so I can spend Quality time with my family, although they are offering cash for me to reconsider!

I know, I know. It's such a beat down as an organizer to have so few S2000's signed up. We've done about all we can do to talk folks into coming out. Unfortunately, it seems like for every regular S2000 driver we gain we loose one. There just aren't that many S2000 autocrossers in the DFW area to begin with, just look at SCCA attendance last year (pretty much just me).

I think it has something to do with the cost of the car and fanatical Honda owners. If you guys have any ideas to increase S2000 attendance feel free to fire away.

I hate that I'm going to miss this one...I'll be in Florida spending my last Fathers Day with my Dad.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming...'Wow! What a ride!'

Hey Clovis, I'm not beating you -- or the NTS2KOC -- up (nor am I reading anything into the number POS ). I'm just sorry to see so few S2000 drivers out there. I enjoy the head-to-head "battles" between the S2000 drivers and the Miata crowd, and I look forward to seeing more S2000 pilots in the future.

And POS, what does Fathers Day have to do with fewer S2000 drivers showing up? As far as I know it's Fathers Day for all of us, not just S2000 owners. Or perhaps you are suggesting that the 19 Miata Pilots either aren't fathers, or don't have fathers (therefore we can be out there) ...
