Thread: Need a new top!!!

    Default Need a new top!!!

My plastic back window finally cracked and I'm in need of a new top. Any suggestions?

I was thinking about getting a Robbins top from Moss, because they've got a special going on right now. Are there better places to get a better price? I'm not sure how much I want to trust the Ebay tops.

Also, how easy/difficult is it to put a new top on?

Check the tops at www.cabrioworld.com - I had one of those on my 92 B&T. Nice top, especially for the $$$. I got the zip down rear window, which was just like the OEM top.

They aren't too bad to install yourself either... I didn't do the B&T but I did put a used top on the 92 blue. Be sure to pick up a rivet gun.

If you haven't checked your rain rail, I'd suggest just going ahead and getting a new one of those too.

Thanks, that looks pretty good. I'm also checking out this place:

They seem to have good prices on Robbins products. Right now, I'm kind of leaning towards a zipperless glass window.

I forget if you have a roll-bar (or want one), but keep that in mind when ordering zipperless.

Thanks Sammm, me and a friend and designing a custom bar so we can probably work around the window.

    Hopefully.

Cabrioworld has a zipperless glass window top too. I love mine and it was about $400.
Very close to getting an M2 top.

Did you get the one piece budget top or the 2-piece?

If I wanted to use a M2 top would I have to have a M2 frame?

I believe they can be modified. Dunno for sure though.

It's the 2 piece. It comes with straps to rivet to the bow that moves, so it will be pulled back and keep it tight.
