The car needs to be washed and waxed, you probably ought to just come straight from work Saturday night.

Yeah, ok, but how did the event go? Good one, good course, tight, fast? How about a description of the event for those of us who couldn't make it...

Results have been audited and sent to General Default. Should be posted Monday sometime.

Course was different, 30-40 sec range. Offset slaloms. A few fairly tight 180 turns. Fairly fast, the F500 hit a max of 58mph on the speedometer with most runs in the 56mph range (lower top speed and better time = better lines through the course).

A Miata and F500 course as shown in the PAX.

    Definately a long day.

Not a bad event. The course was a little on the short side (I think Tommy Saunders got top raw time with a 30.xxx before the Dragon blew up), but the upside was that we were all done with trophies and on the way home before 4:30pm. Most times were in the high 30-second range. Very tight course, with one section that required going back into first gear.

Miatas did well in the PAX, redeeming ourselves against the ST cars from last event. General Default snagged 4th overall with an exceptional run, while I ended up in 7th, barely beating out lugnutjon in 8th, who was borrowing my car for the event. Apparently jon has decided that he likes the KYBs as well, and ordered a set last night.

I though the course was kind of short as well, all things considered (pennington) I ended up 6th in tire, Doug (yello zx2) was not in the computor all day, so when he was added, he was barely ahead of me. Ill see you guys at the next SCCA event.
