    Question Monte Carlo Hitch

Looks like the replacement for the molestervan will be a trailer hitch on mrsthang's Monte Carlo.

Any suggestions for vendors and or installers?

Thanks in advance for keeping this civil and on target :-D

Try these guys! They have come in as the most cost effective on several hitches I have gotten over the years!

    YMMV!

BTW. have you cracked open the owners manual on the Monte?

Looks like it's rated to tow a whooping 1,000 lbs.

I bought a receiver hitch for the Accord two weeks ago from Hitch-web.com. Good service, fast shipping, cheap prices. Worked for me.

    Thanks again.

Hadn't looked at the manual yet, but 1,000 lbs seems about right. FWD car

OTOH - HF Trailer and some junk is all I'm looking at. For the big stuff, I'll still get a truck. UHAUL will rent me a pick up for $19.95/day (plus $.99 per mile )

Don't forget you can also rent from Lowe's or Home Depot for $20 as well.

    We've done that many times...

$19.95 for the first 75 minutes. I need to haul a roll-away bed to Tyler

Discount says there is no hitch for a Monte Carlo SS
