We were wondering how many catfish that flatbed could carry!

They served you guys so much fish you hardly put a dent in it! That's what I call a value...

Man - that was a good event. A good drive, and some damn fine food!

All this talk about catfish, and you guys haven't even mentioned the pies! The chocolate silk was divine!

Hats off to Tim the Teacher for a great event!

Great fun. Thanks again TtT great planning. Those roads down south of 20 were great. We should meet at the south end of dallas one time and drive south then east to get to the shed. Great place to eat BTW. It was a great event, fun driving, thanks to the pace, very relaxing... Actually that was a very good pace. Quick enough to be fun, not too fast that something bad will happen. It was nice to see some people who lurk on the board as well. Y'all come out to an autoX or another event soon.

yah it sounds fun, i wanna drive in a pack of miatas...
but i can't go fast until i fix my rear axles and get my wheels aligned...
heh heh, mean while i drive on the limit and take normal turns.

I did a trip for the LSMC that included some of the same roads, but mine started on the East Side and went down old Hwy 80 for a few miles. Over half the trip to Canton was on FMR's. We could do that to shorten it a bit.
TtT did a great job. Good scenery and sane speeds.

The Shed has been around for a long time and a favorite of groups in ETEX from the beginning. The Athens Bicycle Club used to ride over and back just for the pie.

mrsthang pointed out that there were numerous shopping opportunities in walking distance for those so inclined. Perhaps we could include a brief layover for some of that next time.

    Thumbs up yay

would you pm me is a pack huddles up again? and i like the idea
of the bikes tagging along, i know a pack of preludes that prowl the
streets too, they said they only cruise around, go eat, then cruise
around town and call in a night... maybe we can have them tagging
along too, crap i might even be inclined to bring a camera and do
some documentary of this events... let me know if anyone here is
in on making a short video, i could burn it to DVD's or even make it into
an mpeg or quicktime, or avi format to put on this site, that can be used
to spread word around about this site.....

    3Bean,

Glad to see you representin' the NA crowd. Too many NBs there!

I had to stay home and play nurse to my wifey. She had her Gall Bladder removed. She's doing much better now though.

I'm really and truly bummed that I missed this one. Work and visitors from out of town colluded to make it impossible for me.

However, if you ever want to do another one, count me in.
