not too bad...
At least they went back to the SI being a normal coupe rather than the hatch... A bit more 'livable' that way..
Looks pretty good to me. 200hp, per the show car, is exciting. I'd love to have this thing as an OTM.
On the other hand, the sedan is more Jettarolla crap. It looks like the daughter of a Prius and a Jetta mated with the son of a Corolla and that blind dude from Star Trek Next Generation.

I do like Honda's clever concealment of the "H" badge. It took me forever to figure out what this thing was!

clever concealment? you mean duct tape?
I just can't get over the similiarities between teh 4 door and the TL

Looks like the car has grown.......200HP might not be so great if it's 400# heavier

Now you're making me nostalgic. I had a '93 Civic Si a lot like that blue one (different wheel covers). Loved that car. Wish I still had it around.
I agree with Iain that Si's should be hatchbacks. They're soooo superior in terms of functionality. I have been reminded of this by my wife's current 9-2X, an absolutely delightful little car.
That said, the fact that the new Si is a coupe wouldn't keep me from buying it. Aside from the MCS, there aren't any hot hatches in the States anymore, and the Mini is, IMHO, way overpriced.
Side note: I fooled around on Mini's website one day and found that you can buy a $42,000 MCS if you order all the JCW goodies... And that's without installation!

the front end of the sedan kinda reminds me of a saturn ion, a little

Eh, looks okay. At least it doesn't look like an adolescent mini-van!Originally Posted by srivendel
