Happy Birthday, USA!



I'll be bbq'ing at work today!! Be safe and have fun today!

Up at 6:00 and headed downtown around 7:30 to get a good spot for the parade!
Back to the house by 11:00 to make ice cream and then over to join friends for burgers and dogs and home made ice cream.
Came home to find out that my oldest friend came home from the hospital this afternoon.
What a way to spend the 4th!

Good day!

24 burgers, 14 brats (soaked in onions and Ol' Milwaukee overnight!), 6 steaks, a couple of chicken breasts, a kielbasa, potato salad, hot and spicy queso (I made it milder for the non-spicy folks), apple pie, cherry pie, tons of chips, homemade salsas... tons and tons of food!! I think everyone here at the station had more than enough to eat!

Luckily my tent survived another outing and helped take some of the edge off the day.

I hope everyone had just as much fun!

We had 6 brats. Trina's boys were at their Dad's but we had my niece and nephew and their four cousins.
