    made for a mini, but would work on a miata. cheaper than a g-tech

    cheap?

    Just glue a glass of milk to your dash and see how far up the side the milk goes :)

    You forgot the part about taping a flexible ruler to the side of the glass for measurement... better yet, using a measuring cup.
