Motor swap - Friday 7/15 7pm

They told me to pound sand. So I took the motor to a "reputable machine shop" to have them dissasemble the motor and opine on the cause of said failure. Additionally, I sent, certified mail, a letter requesting my money back by 7/29 or else..... no response as of yet. I am waiting on the machinist opinion before I proceed. The new motor is patiently waiting for me to get my gumption back. Have i mentioned its hot in Dallas?

Gary and Mike came over and we installed the junkyard motor in the Miata. I still have lots of odds and ends to clean up, but big progress.

The machinist took the lower end apart(on the mail order shortblock) and no conclusive evidence, so I am going to let that dog lie, and just chalk it up as a learning experiance.
