Is it going to be on SpeedVision? If you remind me sometime that day, I'll tape it for ya'.
The F1 decade replay of the infamous 1994 San Marino Grand Prix in which the arguably best driver of our generation died is going to be on May 1st at 10:00 PM. I do not have a VCR at my house, but I was wondering if someone would be willing to tape this for me? I will do what ever it takes. Beer, a package of tapes, what ever... I would appreciate it,
Marc

It's F1 Decade right? How long is that show usually last.... two hours or more?
Hey 3bean, how many of them there DVD's are you going to be burning? Majik, do you still want VHS if you can get a DVD?
One initially... then whatever number I may need.
I've got several DVD burners/copiers - one connected to my satellite.
Majik's buying free copies for everyone?
I'd like a dozen then...
Seriously, I may talk to you later about a 3bean bootleg, but I think I can get my own, if my old brain keeps working.
The show is an hour, but it may be longer since this is a special episode. No, Sammmmm, I dont really need a vhs, if I can get a dvd, copy. Thanks for the offer anyway.
Yo 3bean! Are you taking orders yet? Looks like you have at least a few who want a DVD copy!Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

Just a friendly reminder that the show comes on tonight at 10pm CST
Yup... and only 1 hour in length... at least according to my Sat guide.
Well good news and bad news.
Bad news is I over-slept and missed out on the E.R. event at Mineral Wells. I didn't get home from work last night 'till about Midnight. I tried to hit the sack but my eyes wouldn't have it. The alarm went off this morning at about 4:30am and I felt like I just finished going to sleep....
Good news is I got a beautiful copy on DVD of F1 Decade. Watching the Senna crash again was weird....
I'll make copies as soon as I can.
And altiain, I'm just going to have to meet you somewhere during my "normal" hours and get that knob from you then. Let me know how and where.
Let me know where to send a package of DVDS to copy for everyone. I have seen a pack of 5 at Frys for $5 are these any good? I know CDRs that are cheaper seem to be poor quality. Let me know the good brands and Ill send you some to make copies.
Whomever wants one can just tuck a fiver in an envelope with your return address. That should cover materials and shipping. I use DVD-Rs because they offer the best quality while still remaining universal. (Some players won't play DVD+R, CDRs, or VCDs.) I'll mail it back to you in a nice jewel case with a nice graphic I'm working on.Originally Posted by Majik

I've watched this thing twice now and I'm glad I have it. I was watching the crash in super slo-mo and the crash is super wicked. I'm still amazed at how bad it really was. It's a damn shame that Speed won't show the race in it's entirety.
I'm back from Chicago. Everything went better than expected!
Anyhow, Kestrel, I got your email and your DVD is ready. I'm making two copies... one with commercials and the one I'm working on now - no commercials. I'll just drop it by your place as soon as I can.
Does that mean you're moving to the Great White North?Originally Posted by Treibenschnell
