Im thinking of orginizing a drag strip night. Not much of a drag racer, but there is a strip in sanger, (north of denton), as well as an awsome restaruant in sanger. Babe's chicken.

I might be going to Ennis on the 12th. When are you thinking of hitting Sanger?
I definitely need to practice launching the other car.
    I'll stay tuned for details.

I though Babe's was in Roanoke (there's one about a block from where my wife works that is always packed). Is there another one in Sanger?

They built one a year or two ago. Been there, yes it's just as good as Roanoke and you can get catfish too. Yummmy!

Yeah, there's one in Sanger, and the rumor is here in town that there might be one here soon (Whitesboro) I don't have much info on Sanger's strip, I've never been there before. I know a bunch of people that have been. We will just have to see if this materializes.

found some info on the strip. Looks like fun, we might just have to do this one. (Babe's catfish is good, trust me on this one. The lifeguards from my pool go at least once a month.)

So are there any special requirements for this kinda thing (safety equipment or the like), or could I just bring my plain-ole Miata just to see what kinda times it runs?

I'm still gathering information. The hardest part is finding a weekend where I don't work. Now that I am back to working 1 job, it will be easier.

Sounds like a lot of fun and I have heard a lot of good things about that restaraunt.
I would be up for that say a saturday or sunday or even Monday night.
But my car would have sucky times but it would be fun at any rate.
