This website is interesting. Normally I wouldnt believe it, but when I went to sign up for the Army a few years ago, at around 215lbs I was told I was overweight & should cut down, they said I was just a shade under obese ...what?? . After doing a tape test for BMI I was let through, but still was perplexing to me that I was considered almost obese. Since then I have done quite a bit of lifting weights...& burgers, so now I guess I have crosed the line to obese.

I only keep my weight down as an advantage in AX

I have no clue. I just like to type random words into Google Images and see if interesting avatars pop up. I think this one was "Yowee!".Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

I guess BMI doesn't really account for the fact that muscle weighs more than fat.

Yah, that doesn't account for your body fat percent. Like the Rock listed as being obese. He may weight more than the normal average for his height but it is all muscle. Hell, Mr. Universe would be considered obese going by BMI!Originally Posted by onething
