Actually, for $399 you get the hard drive. The additional $300 is EB Games bundling in four games (at $59/each), a spare wireless controller (at $49), a spare battery (at $12) and a battery charger (at $20). You save $17!!!Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

The hard drive is removeable and portable. Bigger ones will be available in the future, but 20GB is, frankly, more than enough for an XBOX, IMHO.
