Holy crap. Riverracer was just joking. The post just above your first explained the whole deal. Then you said, "Yah, there's no way they would make an entire body out of pure silver and you can't plate a plastic bumper..." He jokingly replied "I sure am glad your here to explain that to us Young Man. We might never have figured it out without you! " All he was saying was duh, thanks for the answer seeing as it was posted just above your post. Not a big deal, but it seems like you are having fun arguing just for the fun of it, so have fun!
I guess I do like to argue a bit. The
smiley is not a polite one to use and the capitolizing of young man just didn't come across as your regular joking slap on the back of the head. If he used a
or dunce hat or something it might have been perceived a bit different. That roll eyes smiley can turn a nice comment into an f-u.
I know I took it a little too personal and made a smartass post in reply to his. He could've said okay my post came off a bit rude and he smarted off back sorry, or he could've done what he did and reply with another smartass comment so that I would reply with another smartass comment! Now we have a thread of smartass posts!
Anyways, I think we've beat each other over the head enough on this one. His posts could've been a little less insulting and more joking and I could've taken it a little better.
