    THe upper angle of the picture does a good job of hiding the gap or Brian put some taller profile rubber. I think he did both.

    I'm pretty sure that those are the 18"x8.5" SSRs from his RX-8. IIRC, those would be 245/45-18 tires.

    They may fit, but it makes the car look like it has a lift kit, if you ask me. I guess you'd never need to worry about driveway clearance again.

    Yep it was just a test fit of wider tires and 8 inch rims. There are more pictures on his forum. Not a full time replacement though.

    I think the OEM 5-spoke alloys are better looking than those.
