I'd take the Club Spec.

MX-5 (+$1,000): Add air, leather wheel.
Touring (+2,000): MX-5 spec plus cruise, keyless, fogs, trim upgrades
Sport (+$2,495): Touring + 6-spd, shock tower bar, 17" wheels
Sport + Susp (+$2,995): Sport + Bilsteins, LSD
Grand Touring (+$4,000): Touring plus Leather, 17"ers, 6-speed, STB
GT + Susp (+$4,500): Touring + Bilsteins, LSD

Sport+susp. package for me. Although I'd rather hold out for a Mazdaspeed NC or an NC Coupe.

Given the stoopid packaging that Mazda continues to saddle us with (oops, there goes our free NCs I suppose), it'd have to be a Sport with the Suspension Package. All Miatas come with ABS, but you've got to go all the way to the Sport to get limited slip? Who's freakin' brainchild was that?

Club, MX-5, and Touring all have 5-speeds. That's part of why I'd buy an MX-5 model. Make a good starting point for modifications. I honestly think the 6-speed gearing is more of a hindrance (for me) on a track than the MX-5's lack of an LSD would be.
