    Default Argh.... Stoopid fjords!

My wife's 01 Mustank has a fast blinker so I'm thinking... "OK. replace the burned out bulb."

I'm right. It's one of the tail light bulbs. Pop the trunk.

Hmmmmm? How do you get to the bulb? RTFM!

OK... pop the glovebox. (Who stores gloves in there anyway?)

Manual says, and get this.... "Tail lamb bulbs MUST be serviced by the dealer." Fjord---> <--- black roadster

Dealer of course want's $20 to change a $1 lightbulb. (No lightbulb changing jokes please!)

Does anyone know how to change a taillight bulb on an 01 Mustang?

Let google be your friend, don't fight the power of google!

The following is a How to install 99 - 01 Cobra tail lights on your Mustang

Looks like you need to remove the taillight assembly to get to the bulbs.

It's not just the Mustangs that have this "Better Idea From Ford". MY mother has a 2001 Tarus and I had to remove the assembly to change one of her bulbs. Never owned a Ford myself.....

    or a Miata............

Well, $3.50 for a two pack of bulbs at Wally World, about 20 minutes of mucking around in the trunk and removing some trunk lining and five bolts and the bulb is changed.

    Saved myself about $16 too.
