Yes... but if they ever touch ANYTHING other than wax, you'll never be able to use them on paint again. I've got a dozen that are useless because of a dried leaf that snuck in to the towel wash.

Same here - the only place my Emerald Mica isn't clear-coated on the outside is the mirrors. Maybe they cheaped out on the red ones?

I'm also a big fan of Meguiars. Zaino people are weird.

I think my car is pretty shiny.

    I use the following:

General Washing - Mr. Clean Auto Dry Wash (Love it!)

I used to use the Zaino wash and a California Water Blade which worked really well but the Auto Dry Wash is easier.

    Polishing - Zaino

I used to use Meguires but it is such a PITA to use. Zaino is much easier to apply and remove and the results are as good as Meguires. I never had a problem with the streaks as mentioned until recently.

I wonder if it's either the age of my product (3 years?) or my switch to microfiber cloths. When I used 100% cotton towels I had no problem.

I bought Zaino at a LSMC event. The dealer made a BIG deal about the 100% cotton being the ONLY thing to use. Told me to only buy towels that said 100% Cottton Made in the USA because imports weren't always 100%. He even recommended cutting off the edging material because the thread in the sewing machine is not 100% cotton. He was all about the fact that anything but cotton would scratch the paint. Later, I learned that cones would also scratch the paint, but that is another story.

The original owner of that car used Zymol. I still have it. I used it and Zaino. The last waxing was about 6 weeks ago I think but you know times flys. It was Zymol followed with Zaino ULTRA Clean Gloss Enhancer. It is an anti-static and sunscreen shield.

Zaino is almost no dust at all. Zymol has lots of dust.

Zaino is more labor intensive if you go through all the steps.

But I like to use this product for cone marks.

So can I find Zanio local?

The pointy board also gives rave reviews to Meguiar's NXT wax, although they say it will not last as long a Zanio.

I always had good luck with Meguiars back when I had my Corvette.

Yea I know it's old but I just finished Waxing both the '99 and the '02 with Maguires Gold Class and a micro fiber towel and it worked awsome!
