I thought y'all would enjoy a laugh at my expense this afternoon...
I don't have a workbench, so I've been using stacks of tires to support the pieces of the new trailer as I assemble them. Well, I was drilling the holes to bolt the deck to the trailer frame this afternoon... and I managed to drill a hole in one of my race tires.
Tack on another $158 to the total project bill to have one Ecsta V700 shaved, heat-cycled, and 2nd day air'ed so that I'll have it this weekend.
Am I a dumbass or what?

I would have believed it if you just told us it was a Mineral Wells screw in the tire. Think my neighbors would have heard me yelling if I did that!! This will just be too good to pass up for the rest of the year. hisssssssss,
still LOL but I feel your pain.
I already knew it, but thanks for the proof...
