I especially like that you can see the twisty road sign... the only blemish is that damned S2ook that snuck into the photo!

I thought you were the photochop guru! Can you replace that S2ook with the BUR?

    Despite the rude comment....

It is a nice photo. Notice in Majik's photo you can see Katie with her hands up. I think she's getting ready to take the first photo in my second post.

I think you are right. That is really funny timing.

That was really cool. That old fort site must be one of the best kept secrets in North Texas.

Good times and good food! I like the pace everyone kept. Nice spirited driving with a nice view 90% of the run. Hats off to Rude Dog for a well planned event! I'll post some more pics soon.

Dang...it looks like a good time was had by all. I unfortunately got hit by a flu bug Friday and didn't get out of bed until Sunday afternoon. My apologies to 3bean for not answering the thread.

Glad you guys had fun. At the last second I decided to make it to the Roundup. I am so glad I went, it was a blast!!

But, I'll be watching close for the next time you guys have a run. I'd love to join in the fun.

BTW, who's S2000? I may have parked next to it @ Starbuck's a few hours ago.

Just to be a little this morning... there's a good write up on Spanish Fort at the Online Handbook of Texas (a very interesting resource if you like learning a bit about the state).

OK, now I have to ask.
No one commented on the field art south of St. Jo or the Alamo house?
    Any pictures?

It's sad that the field art has been falling down... It used to be bigger/better...

It's still a neat sight to see though!
