Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls![]()
A friend of mine was there too... I heard it was pretty good. I saw them for free when I was in high school. They had sold out 2 or 3 days in a row at the Oakland Coliseum (50k tickets a show). The morning of the first show, the radio station promoting it announced that they would be playing from a roof top in downtown San Francisco for free in 90 minutes. A bunch of us ditched school and road the train into the city for the show.Originally Posted by sammm

I love all these bands, I like the older U2,(like Sun. B. Sun.), also really like the Cure too, and Queen.
The Queensryche song was off their 2nd album I believe...great show of Geoff Tate's vocal range....He's one of my favorite vocalists of all time.
I used to be a huge Metallica fan til they tried to sue me...lol, I had one song that I had bought like 10 times and the album was no longer in print.
Since then I have not listened to them but still can't bear to throw out all my CD's from them.
One of the best concerts I have been to not including super concerts like the old Texas Jams was God Smack, what a hell of a show, be warned though should you ever go see them live bring ear plugs they really pump it up.
Also I got to see Alice N Chains before their breakup they were awesome.
You guys have great taste in music!

My personal favorite from them is God Part II, but they've got such an incredible catalog that it's hard to go wrong.Originally Posted by Treibenschnell

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
Was that just because you didn't get to drive it yesterday? I had expected Sammm to pull over and let you two switch places...Originally Posted by POS Racing

Lets just hope we don't get a CSI: Chicago. They have ruined 3 Who songs for me so far... Won't Get Fooled Again could be next!Originally Posted by onething

But I could list about 100 more. Bean, it appears we share a similar taste in music.

Have to pick just one, eh? How about one per genre? I like that idea a lot better.
The one that's been on my brain lately is The Cure's "Primary". Other's would definitely include Skankin' Pickle's version of "Turning Japanese" and Skinny Puppy's "Warlock".
