Thread: I have no opinion!

  1. #1

    Default I have no opinion!

I have a project due for my Government class.

I have to find 5 recent editorials. (Can be Newspaper, Online or Blog)

I then have to write an opposing viewpoint.

The problem. I am pretty moderate and don't see black and white on too many issues.

Also I find I don't really care too much on any issue enough to be able to write a strong opinion for or against.

I've just spent two hours online looking at newspapers in Liberal NY and Conservative Texas for any editorial I disagree with and have enough knowledge on to comment. I found nothing!

    Any help here?
    ...and across the line.

Since you can use a Blog/Online... a buddy of mine runs a site, http://www.debatepolitics.com . There are some really "out there" types on there. I'm sure you can find something to disagree with.

Lets see... I am sure you there are some topics you could take a side against...

Black is the worst color for a car.

California canyon roads are not really that much more fun that your average North Texas backroad.

Ok... Finding some online editorials not connected to any "paper" newspaper that has some extreme viewpoints. Most major media isn't extremely left or right but more of a slanted right or left ideology

    www.hated.com is Extreme Left

Need some Extreme Right links too

    Qualifications:

I need a name of the author to be considered a proper editorial.
Should be political in nature (Sorry Titus)

Regarding srivendels suggestions, I'm neutral on Gay Marriage, Iraq War, and Eminent Domain. Obviously I'm pro-torture!

I mean anti-torture but find me an editorial claiming the pros of U.S. Government sponsered torture!

    Thanks for the help.

I used to enjoy the fact that I could see both sides of most arguements. It meant I could take either side and argue equally well. Find some editorials and let me help you

    Obviously you're a spineless weasel.

Why not start with this ridiculous piece of drivel and go from there? Do they have to be editorials about politics?

rotflmao! That's funny. Everyone just thinks they are right wing cause they are the only ones that regularly show the right wing along side the left. I love the O'Reily factors reader emails part where one viewer bitches about how liberal he is then the next email bitches about how conservative he is!

Anyways, here are some far right links....some of this crap is just as off the wall as say Michael Moore! Especially this first 2 links if I remember correctly haven't looked at these in a long time.

And this last link is pro-gun....has a hilarious spin making fun of anti-gun activists' claims that guns kill people. You gotta see the live camera watching a gun in an empty room to see if it kills anyone!
