Welcome to the board!
This isn't hard to do. I recently installed some chrome bezels in my own car, although mine required glueing.
I'd be happy to help you do this mod some evening after work. Drop me a PM if you're interested.
I am soon to install a chrome instrument bezel (adhesive piece that outlines the instrument gauges). Instructions obtained from the Miata.net have me spooked. I am not a mechanic. Hopefully, this won't require messing with needles or gauges.
Does anyone local have experience with removing the gauge pod and replacing? Any reliable shops that do this type of mod? I am willing to pay modest amount to have someone install for me.
Thanks for your help.

Not sure about the 2000 model, but on our earlier NA's the hood comes off rather easily... just take your time and you should be okay.
However, if you're still spooked, your more than welcome to come out to Frisco... I'll give it a shot for you!

Thanks to all for responses. I'm out next week, but will contact you in early December for assistance (which will be greatly appreciated).
