Has anybody heard of this stuff? Or used it? Would it be SCCA illegal?

I don't recall anything in the rulebook about not being able to condition your tires. I've never tried it because I let the cord out long before the tires get hard.

I'm waiting for the "new" formula that restores lost tread to the tires and hides the cords! Rogaine for R compounds tires!

Remember the old rule: "If it doesn't say you can, then you can't."

Of course, if Formula V is illegal, so is Armor All or TIre Shine or anything else someone might use to dress their tires.

FWIW, I've used it before on an old set of Hoosiers that came with my RX7-from-hell. It really does work. However, it won't make new tires any sticker - it only brings back some of the stick in old tires.
