Grrr... that is (shipped) about $45 less then I payed for my set lest month.
The prices were just lowered on the Falken Azenis RT-615. They're now just a few dollars more per tire than the Hankooks. Too bad I already have fairly new Hankooks. I'm sure I'll be trying out some of the new Azenis soon enough.

Sweet! I'll be ordering a set of these in 205/50-15 next Monday for S2k events.

So no R-comps this year at S2K?Originally Posted by altiain

Probably not - there seems to be more lively action in the street tire class.Originally Posted by Miatamoto
Besides, I plan on hitting the Walnut Ridge Tour, Houston Tour, Dallas Pro Solo, and Nationals this year. Throw in some ER events and a Divisional or two, and I either needed a set of street tires for non-competitive events or a much bigger budget for R comps!
I'm also planning on driving to Walnut Ridge and Houston on them, so that they can serve as backup rain tires (my street wheels aren't Stock legal). They're no Hoosier Wets, but they're better than nothing.

Excellent.
Curious... Anyone plan to have theirs shaved?
The RT-215s didn't feel like they really needed it, but the Hankooks seem like they could use it.

It seems Edgeracing.com still has some 215's in 14"... wow...
If they stopped making them a year ago, I wonder how the long these have been sitting in the back of the warehouse?Originally Posted by Treibenschnell
