It would have been great to have some in-car footage, but we didn't have a camera mount.
Plus the camera would have increased his race weight!![]()

I might be a little bias, but damn that's one fast driver.
Thanks for making the video. We are shooting the finale this Saturday at MSR (Visitors welcome) and I am using this to pump up the noise!
I Think the video looks awesome. For those unfamiliar, the guy sitting in the car Jeremy from Flyin'Miata. ATSRacing provided Dyno time to get the car tuned in. Hanging out with Jeremy was awesome.
Thanks again.

The Black Mamba
Cool video! Take that corevette!
Already did the Corvette, and it was a nice peice of tail.
Now, it's onto a Porsche, Cooper and Mercedes. Frankly, the mack daddy cars are in the other semi heats. Keith V. will be unveiling his Lotus Elise TURBO this weekend. Keith was already one of the fastest drivers at the ranch with the Elise, but now he will have power and finesse.

I'm confused. All three cars are setting on the track, sid-by-side. The Miata goes, but the vettes are still waiting. Why? Next instant, there is a pretty big gap between cars. As the video progresses, the 2006 is definitely closing in on the Miata.....
Please explain.
I'm not sure what the deal is with the start, but I have a feeling you are looking at the editing together of several different laps. Also, there was a mention of the producers asking him to back off a little at the end to let the vettes catch up... that way they could actually get some footage with more than one car in the frame at a time.![]()
There was a handicapping system based on solo lap times. Those corvettes were serious cars with brand spankin' new Hoosiers on them (Miata was running used up V710s) and they were very fast.Originally Posted by Titus
