Some observations.
Remarkably easy DIY oil change. Wish the Miata was his easy!
Drive the van up on ramps remove three 10mm bolts from the belly pan to allow easier access to the oil filter. The oil drain plug was a 15mm and easy to get to. First time I ever used that 15mm wrench! I'm convinced they employ gorrillas at the factory to install the oil filter. No doubt whose motor it is. Oil dipstick says FoMoCo. It takes 6 qts of oil! I'm so used to 4 qt oil changes!
Other than some busted knuckles trying to remove the OEM oil filter this was an easy job. New filter is hand tight so It should be a breeze at 10k miles. Cost me about $37 in materials and an hour. Should take me about 20 minutes next time.

So the ramps worked out well for ya?
I got a couple of quarts of 0w20 Mobil 1 from my previous car.
A civic Hybrid.
5w20 easy to find, 0w20 is not as easy.
