I would go DLP as well, and all of the Onkyo receivers I have owned were great. Just talked my Uncle into the samsung 50" DLP with pedestal and it looks great.

Well I would have to get you a final price(my price + tax + if you want a service plan with it[its 4 years for TVs, price varries]), then we would meet up at a store(if you wanted to carry it out) and you could either act like my dad or just give me the money(check, cash, whatever) and then puchase the TV.

Sammm: I have to actualy go into a store to check my prices on stuff, I don't really have anything to do today and there is a store just down the road from me, so I will check on that later today probably.

Don't go to any trouble, whenever you're there. I appreciate it! (When you do go, check on the 50" Samsung DLP too please. )

Ok well I got bored so I went and checked the prices on the two TVs, and heres what I found:

The 46" TV retailed for $2099, and my price is $1445.18(save ~$650).
The 50" TV retailed for $2299, and my price is $1576.65(save ~$720 ).
Neither price includes tax. The price for the 4 year service plan is $279(instead of $399) on both.

The computers of the store I went to said that they had none of the 46"s in(but I should be able to order them, or check other stores), but there were 3 of the 50"s in stock.

Wow! That's quite a discount, thanks for checking! Now to convince the wife we need a large screen TV. Valentines Day is coming, right?
