What a weekend

We picked up the 03' and the 06' about 10am Sat. morning. Drove them around in the rain a bit. Took my Civic to the airport and stopped by and saw Bam at NTB. Left for Albuquerque Sunday at 1pm and got there about midnight. Yesterday we washed the cars and waxed the 03'. Poor car has 5,000 miles now and has been sitting in Houston. The sway bars had some surface rust, the doofus that put it on the truck scratched the front bumper, and someone had bottomed it out and bent one support brackets so the midpipe kept hitting it. The tires were out of round and made for one interesting drive unless you were in a sweet spot where everything was smooth. It's one killer car, I'm glad he rescued it from Houston. I flew in and got home at midnight.
As for the NC, it's got a great powerband, torquey motor, and I liked the gearbox. It's a good 6 speed. I couldn't get comfortable in the seat though. The side bolsters felt like they were digging into my thighs, so I drove the 03' most of the way. It'll be cool to see what FM comes up with for mods for the NC. He'll pick it up this weekend.
