    Default Shaving the bumpstop necessary?

Is shaving the bumpstop necessary with the KYB AGX and FM Spring combo on a MB (1999)? All measurements say the car will be lowered one inch. All points of view welcome.

I think that is only needed on the 90-97 Miatas.

Titus is correct for the 90-97. I am currently running the same package for my 96. I do not remember reading anything about shaving bumpstops for any 99+ when I did my research.
