    Default Tinting rear plastic window?

Has anyone had any luck finding a place that will tint the plastic back window on the early Miatas?

Back in the day I had a Triumph TR6 with a plastic window I never found anyone who would guarantee the work..... The flex of the plastic window made the tint guys real nervous.

I also did a google and found this on Tintdude.com

Thanks for the help, I tried the static cling tint and it did look bad since I could not work out the bubbles without another bubble forming next to it. I guess I could try the window screen idea until it comes time to buy a new top.

    You could always dye it.
Heat up a large container of water, pour in the color of dye you would like- I'm assuming black. Place the plastic portion in the hot water...the longer its in, the darker it tints the plastic. You could practice with similar plastic first.
    Good luck.
