    Noooooooo!

    Sony will put off the release of its much awaited PlayStation 3 console until November from its planned spring debut because of delays in finalizing its next-generation optical disc technology, the company said Wednesday.

    The new timeline means that the PlayStation 3 will still hit store shelves simultaneously in Japan, North America and Europe, just in time for Christmas.

    Suuuuuure. We saw how well that worked for the Xbox 360, and it didn't even have a (difficult to manufacture) BluRay drive. Better get those pre-orders in early, kids.

    I dont know about anyone else but I purchased my PS2 as soon as they came out, I am on my 3rd one now all the same thing....the laser malfunction.
    I fixed them several times before they just broke for good.

    That being said I am not so sure rushing it before it's really ready is a good idea especially with how much they are gonna cost.
