    Default Drive to Palestine

So I did my first nice drive to Palestine Texas today from Plano. The car drove incredibly well. It was a joy to drive. Nice to have that extra power when I needed it. The car just feels so solid. It would be hard to go back to an earlier generation now.

One scarry moment that I didn't need - It starts to rain very hard. I pull into a gas station, and as soon as I pull out, I hear a couple of loud smacks on the car. Here comes the hail! I pulled a quick uturn back under the gas station canopy.

The hail proceeds to come down in bigger chunks, and like cats and dogs. Thank God the car was covered. It would have been hard to handle a brand new NC with hundreds of dings all over the car.
