    Default Just a little info

Hey guys, I just wanted to share a little something with you all, if you dont already know about it. It had been about a year since I had decarboned my miata and so I deemed it was a good time to do so while I was changing my plugs, thermostate, temp sensor, oil etc. I normally use Seafoam which works prety damn good imo. I was talking it over with my good friend thats a Tech at carmax and he told me to run some motorcraft carb cleaner through it and it worked great. So I went down to hillard and bought a bottle and ran it through one of the vacuum lines. He told me to let it soak for a couple hours to really clean all the junk out and then drive it for a couple hours and then change the oil. After I did that the car ran so much more pro, the motorcraft def worked a lot better than seafoam. So if its been awhile since you guys have decarbed your car def try this out.

I'm sure that's exactly where my slight erratic idle is stemming from. Which vacuum line to where? Last time I even got anything other than air near my throttle body, it wigged the engine code light out for a few days. Just kept resetting it because I knew that was the last thing I did before light on.
