New map webpage
Well I dont know how new, but I havent seen it before. http://local.live.com/ Very cool, looks to use the same Sat images as google, but try the birds eye view. They seem to be rather recent photos.
Microsoft seems to be up to is usual steal it and make it better self, with google as the latest target. In addition to the map functions they have been running that have a similar look and feel to google, they are now offering Hotmail users the ability to upgrade to Windows Live Mail Beta. Actually, Windows Live Mail Beta looks very promising on a number of fronts... For maps, I think the Google product is still better. Live may be cooler with the Bird's eye, but only cooler... not better.

The pics of up here aren't recent, in the photo of Whitesboro, the middle school is still under conctruction. and that was 10 years ago.

The photos used by Microsoft are alot more recent than those used by Google. You can see my old VW bus in the Microsoft photos.
