Cool stuff. Gettting closer!
Thank goodness Gary had a garage that was semi-cool and with fans. The PWR radiator was installed this morning with just a few modifications. It only took 1.5 hours and was fairly routine. The Mazdaspeed motor mounts were a different story. It seems the 03's have this huge triangle shaped bracket that is an absolute biyatch to get off while the motor is in place. All the usual steps were taken and the bracket is just not an easy removal or install. Four of us were needed to operate the jack, align the bolts and push the motor left or right. The new mounts are slightly thicker as well which didn't help matters. My thanks to Mike, Magma and a few others who were there to help out. The clutch, flywheel and PPF are going to be installed by Gary with me doing a lot of the grunt work the week after next. Gauges and header are on list for next month.
ETA: Ordered one of these Shark II antennas also after seeing one on Magma's car. It looks SHARP!!

You have my sympathy... TC and I did my '04 one night. Turns out that yelling curse words tended to help settle the parts in to place. Getting them out of the engine bay (and later back in) was quite the trick.Originally Posted by Tim the Teacher

I need to raid my vw parts for an antenna for the NA.
Will the reception be any better? I would like one of those also.Originally Posted by Tim the Teacher

Still waiting for the antenna. No returned phone calls and no e-mail answers other than Paypal says there is a tracking number with USPS. However, when entered the number is not valid.
