For the transmission, you have the main gear case to fill, and then you can also add oil to the turret (sp?). In addition to this, you have the rear end (a.k.a. Differential). Each of these 3 fluid changes are independent of each other.
I am replacing the shifter boots and after looking through all of the back posts adbout redline and refilling the transmission, well i am confused.
I kept seeing posts about people filling up the rear, and then someone saying the differential. Is that what they mean?
What all shoudl i do when replacing the shifter boots, and what oil/fluid/redline should i use and where?
thank you
Or is anyone planning on a tech day within the next week or two?
I am moving to kansas on the 1st or 7th and wont have access to tools up there, and the only club i found up there seems to rival Lone Star. OTOH i am of work till I leave so if anyone is free during the day once i get the parts and would want to help....
Thanks

Look at this Link!
The Turret is what need to be cleaned out and oil added, then as Titus mentioned you have the transmission fluid and rear end fluid that both can be replaced independently.
