    Default The Matrix 2 Freeway on Google Earth

    As you may or may not know, the producers of the Matrix 2 built a 1.5 mile section of freeway just for the film's freeway scenes. The freeway was built on the decommissioned Alameda Naval Base. I ran across this link to the Google Earth picture of the freeway. If you zoom in, you can see several road courses chalked out and it appears that there is a Zoom Zoom Live type of event getting ready to take place. The site is also often used for MythBusters tests involving the crashing of cars.
