Thread: 2006 Honda Element...

    Talking 2006 Honda Element...

Here they are, my wife and her new Honda Element. It's not a bad little vehicle... it only had 2 miles on the odo when we first saw it. Hell, it still had it's plastic covers.

We got a helluva deal on it. It'll be making it's first road trip this weekend.

Cool! I've always liked those. They're definitely a lot more classy with the painted body panels instead of the black plastic.

Very nice! So what's the destination for the first road trip?

    Awesome Bean!! Excellent choice!

Let me tell you they make great road trip vehicles. We got around 24 mpg to Colorado & back with 4 people & 3 days worth of luggage strapped to the top. We have gotten up to 27mpg when we head down to the coast.

Make sure you bring an ipod or a laptop, the line in makes for a great jukebox on long trips.

They can also be quite fun...if you got the 5spd!

Yup... I've got to buy a power inverter for the laptop... but I found out that the stereo also plays MP3s on it's own! So I'll just burn a ton of stuff onto a couple of CD-R's.

That's one of the reasons I'm going back... I have to check on mom. Apparently the retaining wall behind her house has held up. Good news!
