I tried that Time Trial for a few laps last night... I couldn't seem to break into the 1:22's but it's out there. Iif I could just string together three good sectors (sector one just past the S-Curves, sector two near the brutal chicane leading to the hairpin, sector three at the finish line) I'm guessing I could get into the mid-to-upper 1:22's. Not sure I could get down to 1:22.5xx though. Anyway, the best I could manage was 1:23.393.
I did do much better with the dualshock controller I wonder what class I'd be in if I removed my steering wheel, brake and gas pedal from my Miata and replaced them with a Sony Playstation 2 DualShock Controller... is that CSP?
I found the best way to get through the last chicane, was to late apex the first bend in the chicane and it lets you set up a straight braking zone for the hairpin.Originally Posted by Kestrel
Being in a straight line for the final hairpin is crucial, although I think I'm early apexing the first part of the S-bend to achieve that. I dropped another .7 last week, so I'm at 1:22.471.
