I, too, had a strange noise coming from the front of the car. I could not hear it below 25 mph. It sounded like a rhythmic rubbing, shup, shup, shup. Rev the engine and no change in the rhythm of the noise. Increase speed and the frequency of the noise also increased. It was getting worse over the last three days.
Turns out that I forgot to torque the lug nuts on the right front wheel the last time I had the wheels off and on. The lug nuts were getting looser.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
