Just wondering what resistor I need to get to make the airbag light stop blinking. I installed a new steering wheel and now I can't pass inspection unless the light stops.
Please help!!!
I also have no idea what to do after I get the resistor.

Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

Thanks! I had the same problem as well.

You guys should get together and split the multi-packs of resistors and spade connectors...
BTW... that's probably also the "right" way to build a clutch interlock defeat ... which is to say... that in a pinch.... all you have to do to get the airbag light off is probably just connect the wires, but you didn't hear that from me.

The module is supposed to be smart enough to detect a short in the airbag wiring... The resistors are the way to go.
If you need help soldering it up, come by the house & I'll help ya out.

There is one...
So you'd need to unplug the modules as well as remove the bulb.
Hell, if you put an aftermarket wheel on it and you don't need the airbag modules any more you should just pull the bulb and the modules out of the car. If they weren't flashing an error code before... and if they aren't flashing the dreaded "dead module" code (10 flashes on the older ones, forget the newer ones) you can sell the modules on flea bay...
